The AWC marketing department recently released an invitation to the public to come and meet filmmaker Charlie Minn to discuss his documentary "8 Murders A Day" which examines the devastating drug war that has left more than 10,000 people dead in the Mexican state of Juarez alone since 2008.
The film opens Friday, January 20th at Harkins Theatre at Yuma Palms Mall, after a 30 city run across the U.S.
Minn will be in San Luis tonight and tomorrow for a presentation and Q&A in regards to his work and this film in particular. Prior to filmmaking, Minn was a journalist and TV anchor in the Albuquerque, Fresno, Portland and Cleveland markets.
